Hidden: A Group Art Show in Harlem

“Hidden will be a mixed media art exhibition of things we tend to hide, from our darkest secrets and biggest insecurities, to those thrown away by society, to those things that have become taboo within our culture and communities - think mental illness, alternative lifestyles, etc. What does Hidden mean to you? Each artist explores the theme and takes us to places deeply familiar.

Curated by Tierra Jada and Art Tillman, this is the second installation of our pop-up art show. We will be joined by 15+ amazing local artists who are making names for themselves on the NYC art scene.

'Dancer' Monoprint, Gone to a New Home

I was very happy to learn today that my monoprint 'Dancers' found a new home during Site:Brooklyn Gallery 's 4th Annual Hand Pulled Prints Exhibit this month. The piece is a combination of chine collé with a copperplate etching. I'll be working on a variable edition of a different version of 'Dancers' during the month of November. More to come…

Showing at Gowanus Open Studios October 21 & 22

This year I am excited to be participating in the Gowanus Open Studios weekend, October 21 and 22 from noon to 6pm. I'll be showing work at the Dredgers Canoe Club Boathouse, 16 2nd St. between Bond street and the west bank of the Gowanus Canal.  There are 12 artists showing at this location, and many more studios nearby. In addition to framed one of a kind Monoprints and Monotypes, I'll have unframed original hand pulled prints, and archival giclee prints available at more modest prices.
